This started off as a very short piece I made in Reaper, the first song I made in fact. Originally titled "Mellow," it only included the first section and nothing more. Later, I decided to add onto it by using a chord progression I had in mind, and thusly, "Mellowgrand" was born. I chose it as the title track of the compilation as I felt that the name sums up each song pretty well. The name itself was chosen as I had used a Mellotron VST for the song, as with many others in this release.
